Daly Gentry understands the psychology of creating the right atmosphere, whether it be a client’s home or workplace. For Daly, the design relationship is paramount to the success of a project. “I always work to create spaces that reflect the client’s personality, not mine. The most important aspect is that they are comfortable with me and are able to voice their opinions through the process. When this happens, the design always goes to another level.”
Daly believes that “trendy is on its way out and people are looking at the past in a renewed way. People are more apt to reuse than replace, but when they do make new purchases, they want quality classic pieces. They also want to ensure that they don’t spend their money foolishly. That’s where hiring an interior designer comes in. We will be able to recognize the client’s style and create that space, through a progression that works within anyone’s budget.”
Since joining Evon Kirkland Interiors in 2006, Daly has expanded the firm’s presence in corporate design. The special challenges that come of working with many different personalities is a process that she enjoys. “These projects are so multi-faceted and involved. There is no simple decision. You are not only looking at aesthetics, you have to also examine how the space will work for everyone – from the people who work there to people who visit as clients or customers, to the people who perform maintenance. “ It is this attention to detail that sets Daly Gentry apart.
